Cook Off


The 781 Annual Cook is well in swing now! Below is all you need to know about the cook off. If you have any questions, contact SGT Williams or SGT Bonfield.

It's all over for another year...

On Wednesday 24th february the SQN held another Cook Off, we had five teams take part each team had between five and six cadets. Each team had to produce a three course meal which had to be cooked on a Trangia, each course was marked out of 10 on flavour, presentation, creativity, hygiene and knife skills. Each team had just 20 minutes per course, Everyone took the competition very seriously and everyone wanted to win! The winning team was team Cauilflower, well done to CDT Pudner, CDT Bibby, CDT White, CDT Wrobuel, CDT Risley and CDT Foster.

Team Spending

Each team should be 5 members, however some teams may have 6. You would of each given £1 to SGT Williams and therefore we will give £5 to each team for ingredients. If you have 6 members in your team you will only receive £5. The extra pound will be put toward the shared ingredients.

The £5 will be given to the team leaders on Friday the 19th of February.
